Using only coiled cord for one lightning device works fine. However, once a second device is connected with the USB plug, entire circuit constantly recycles on and off. This happened with both the first and replacement unit. Changing cable and/or moving to different vehicle made no difference. Both units behaved the same way. Would not purchase again!
