Then I would need to pull in out or in just a bit then it word work. But it because so touchy that just a tiny movement then it would stop charging. Is it a problem with with car's cigarette lighter? I don't think so. Other charging plug-ins work well. Maybe I just got one bad unit. But we are returning it and looking for a different brand.

The "light" that shows it's powered on was initially barely visible, then, just stopped working. I'm tempeted to get out a multi-meter and check if it's really charging at 3.1 amps (which is why I bought it). It doesn't seem to be charging any faster than a 1 amp charger. Rocketfish makes a nicer charger; I guess I should have picked that one up. My guess is that I'll be lucky to get 6 months out of it.

It's as if you are constantly plugging and unplugging the charger. Sure enough, the box doesn't indicate compatibility with X-series, but why sell an iPhone-specific charger if it doesn't work with the current generation iPhones?
