Works but coil is very tight

Have had some frustrating moments where the coil tension is so tight that it pulls the cable out of the iphone. Not sure if this is because of the product design, a problem with my iphone port, or a combination of the two. Either way it has been frustrating being on what feels like a short leash but when not overstretched it seems to charge.
