It gave me a more secure grip on the (very small/slim/smooth) remote. However, when it was on the remote, it interfered with the remote's function. I could not get the remote to work on the Apple TV box. I checked numerous times to make sure the cover wasn't covering the signal "port", but it was fitting properly with the signal port having no obstruction in front of it to prevent the signal from reaching the box. In fact, I initially thought the remote was not working correctly. When I removed the cover from the remote, however, the remote worked perfectly. I don't know the reason behind this, as I did check several times to make sure the cover wasn't obstructing the signal port (as stated above), but I was forced to remove the cover to allow the remote to work.

The silicone sleeve folds up and over on the end of the remote which would work if the whole top of the Apple TV remote wasn’t a button. Placing the sleeve on correctly interferes with the button and allows it to depressed which make it act goofy. Disappointed in the functionality of this product but love the concept.

Makes it less likely to slip into the couch, which is a big plus. After about a year the rubber "hole" where the strap ripped, but I just retied the strap around the remaining bottom rubber and it's held up just fine. I also swing this thing around a lot by the strap because I'm weird like that, so your mileage may vary. Great product, good price.
