Q: Received the Insignia Apple TV Remote Cover (NS-HATV4RC) and an Apple TV 4K for Christmas. I've read two reviews here (10/30 and 12/22) that indicate it fits the 4K remote and one (12/22) that states it does not. Anyone else care to weigh in?

A: Fits well for my use. A bit tight at first - can’t feel click of touch pad you would feel without the case - but eventually this loosens and you can again feel the click. I have two ATV4 remotes (old style and new) and same initial experience with both and resolved itself in less than a month of regular use. Also, Fast Scroll might be fickle because the fit of the lip of the case slightly over the touch pad, but I’m not sure I use Fast Scroll enough with the case on/off to really comment on how much it inhibits this feature.

Q: Does this cover completely enclosed the remote including all of the buttons, and prevent moisture and/or dust from getting into it?

A: No. It just wraps around the back and sides of the control. Fall protection essentially. The buttons and face are open though.

Q: Does this fit the Insignia TV remote?? I think I ordered the wrong thing.

A: No, this remote cover doesn't fit the Insignia TV remote.

Q: Does this fit the original Apple Tv remote?

Adequate
Does the job of keeping my remote from sliding off the arm of the couch. On the down side when initially purchased it was a little too snug. It impeded the ability to actually press the touch pad because it was held down perpetually. After manually stretching it out a bit it works fine. I wish it were available in more visible colors and a bit larger honestly. The apple remote is too small and easy to lose. Overall it does the job after a little tweaking, but still leaves something to be desired.

A must have for the apple remote!
This grip cover is a MUST HAVE for the apple remote! It has protected the remote from those pesky slips off the side of the chair to the hardwood floor as well as keeping a nice non slip grip while holding. It’s very comfortable, with a smooth, yet soft touch. The wristlet is nice while using the remote to browse or type and also serves as a great way to hang the remote when not in use so there is less chance of losing it.

A must have for Apple TV
I decided to pick up this remote cover because I liked how it looked and I wanted something to protect my remote from my son who drops the remote all the time. It has kept my remote safe and sound. The strap on it helps you to locate the remote quickly if it gets in between your sofa cushions. The material is rubberized. It is easy to wipe down as well. I highly recommend it to everyone that either loses their remotes or drops them.
