Does the job of keeping my remote from sliding off the arm of the couch. On the down side when initially purchased it was a little too snug. It impeded the ability to actually press the touch pad because it was held down perpetually. After manually stretching it out a bit it works fine. I wish it were available in more visible colors and a bit larger honestly. The apple remote is too small and easy to lose. Overall it does the job after a little tweaking, but still leaves something to be desired.

This grip cover is a MUST HAVE for the apple remote! It has protected the remote from those pesky slips off the side of the chair to the hardwood floor as well as keeping a nice non slip grip while holding. It’s very comfortable, with a smooth, yet soft touch. The wristlet is nice while using the remote to browse or type and also serves as a great way to hang the remote when not in use so there is less chance of losing it.

I decided to pick up this remote cover because I liked how it looked and I wanted something to protect my remote from my son who drops the remote all the time. It has kept my remote safe and sound. The strap on it helps you to locate the remote quickly if it gets in between your sofa cushions. The material is rubberized. It is easy to wipe down as well. I highly recommend it to everyone that either loses their remotes or drops them.

I bought this and forgot about it, so it was too late to return it. Initially I had the issue of it being too tight, so it kept the touchpad clicked down. I read a review that said to stretch the case out, and now it works perfectly. Stretch it, don’t cut it! I stretched it in all directions.

As others have pointed out, out of the box this cover creates issues with the main button/track pad (top half) of the Siri remote. However, if you trim just a small portion off the top section that overlaps the remote, tapering off towards the middle of the remote, it will still stay on like it’s meant to and remove the issues with the main button. Hopefully my photo uploads correctly so you can see what I mean.

So, I almost disregarded this item based on a review I read from another customer who stated that you could not use the “ click” options on the sides of the remote to FF or RW when using it via Apple TV, Netflix, Sling TV, etc., however, that is not the case. The only difference is there is no longer the satisfying “click” feel, but the results are still the same. This accessory does make the Siri Remote feel a bit more comfortable to hold, plus it can be tethered with that included strap...in case needed. Not too shabby, especially for the price.

The Apple TV remote has a terrible design idea. It’s slippery and even with the new 4K remote have a raise ring to indicate top and bottom you still have hard times moving it in the palm. This cover add firm grips. The carry-on rope prevents dropping.

I didn't realize when I purchased this cover that the newer generations of AppleTV have a different remote. This remote cover will be too large for older generation remotes. However, if you do have a newer AppleTV remote, this product will offer protection for your remote with a good look. It's worth mentioning that this product doesn't completely cover the remote but is more of a rubber backing. Definitely worth buying if you're rough on your remote(s).

Good protection for the remote. Lightweight, Thin but rugged. Fits like a glove and has an optional lanyard.

This is a great concept but poor execution. It protects the remote from drives bumps and scratches but the top of the silicone device is so tight it compresses the button and does not allow room for the button to be depressed so during active times the Apple TV is on it either fast forward or pauses or does other weird things that’s very annoying. All in all if you just want to protect the remote and not use it for anything then this works but if you want a functional remote while this is on don’t count on being able to use it

The material is great & it is non slip. The top part grips the track pad so I can’t press it down. Had to cut it. Please fix!

Bad design. The lip of the cover depresses the track pad’s button, making it not function correctly. A partial fix is to cut off the top of the cover where the track pad begins. While this isn’t perfect, it retains the lanyard on the bottom that provides easy orientation, which one of the reasons to get the case in the first place.

This cover is the worst ever. It keep the track pad press to the point that you can use it anymore. I had to cut it to use it. I keep it only cause returning it was going to be more expensive. Please don’t be fool as I was. Don't buy this.

I wish I had bought this case before I dropped my remote and cracked it a little bit

So I bought this after several of my friends broke their Apple TV remotes. This case definitely makes it easier to hold and handle the remote and it definitely makes it harder to drop while giving it some protection. The only problem I've had with it is that it makes it more difficult to use the trackpad. The lip that keeps the case on it often interferes with the "click" you have to make when making selections on the tv. Sometimes it registers, other times you have to fiddle with it to get the trackpad button to work. I've found it has to be on perfectly for it to work most of the time, but even then, you'll still have issues with it and you can forget about using the left/right shortcuts to skip back/forward 10 seconds. i would imagine this isn't an issue with just this case, but any case you would put on your apple tv remote as it's more about the way Apple decided to design it.

This case includes a wrist strap, and is cheaper than the Apple Remote Loop by itself. Unlike the wrist strap on this case, the Apple Remote Loop attaches to the Lightning Connector on the bottom of the remote, meaning you need to remove it whenever you need to charge the remote. The wrist strap on the case is removable if you don't want to use it. The remote fits the case snugly, and there are cutouts for the Lightning Connector, the IR Sensor, and Both Microphones. The case doesn't hinder use of the remote in any way, and there is no need to remove the case for any function. The ridges on the back also make the remote easier to grip than the flat, smooth back of the remote itself. Overall, I would definitely recommend this case for anyone with the new Apple TV

Let me first say I love Best Buy and it’s products. I think they sell good quality items, so naturally when I got my Apple TV 4K I wanted a remote cover to help protect it from damage (part of it is made out of glass). The silicone has a great feel in my opinion it makes it less slippery and more grippy with how the remote and made/forms to your natural hand position. Though like other reviews have said it is very tight at first. (It presses down on the touch button on the remote). Just have patience and stretch it you won’t hurt the silicone and in a day or two it will be lose enough for it to be perfect! I think it’s worth the price even with that flaw.
