When the remote cover is fitted in the AppleTV remote the touch-button is pressed and held down. You can scroll but not click or use any other button. The remote becomes completely useless. If you only fit the lower half of the remote cover you will get the silicon/rubber grip and better fit to your hand that the remote cover is intended to give. The price was a pljs for this item. It was so cheap that it was not worth returning.

Cover fit perfectly over the new remote, which has a glass like track pad. Protects from any drops! Great product!

I’ve had the glass break on a previous remote without a case. I’ve owned this case for several months in a household full of kids. It works great! Very happy, especially at its price.

I love my Apple TV but the remote is so tiny and fragile. I’m so thankful that I found a cover for it. It would be nice to have more color options for when I get an Apple TV for our other tv.

Used the standard remote for months and dropped it all the time. Put this cover on and it feels nice and sturdy. Took some getting used to as it makes the remote a tad bit thicker but haven’t dropped it since.

Broke original remote when cats knocked off remote when it was sitting on the end table. Bought the remote case when I purchased a new remote. Cats still knocking it off the end table but the remote is not getting bamaged

I got this because the Apple TV remote is small this way it’s easy so hold. It’s so soft and you won’t loose it so easily. If you got the Apple TV, invest invest a bit more, it’s worth it.

This item is better than expected and holds the remote great and makes keeping up with it easier as well since I use to lose other one without the cover! If I get another remote will def buy another one! Well worth the money!

At first I didn’t think it was going to work, I left the end slightly loose where the large press pad is and the cover does just as expected. It is not small and slippery anymore.

I wasn’t a fan of this remote sleeve. I may have gotten a faulty one. It compressed the track pad leaving it unusable. Returned for refund.

As you may already know the Apple TV remote is glass and I live with a tile floor so I don’t want my remote to break in case it is dropped or flung off the bed from moving the covers lol.

I bought 3 of things for my Apple TV’s that I have in my house. They work Great because we the remote is much smaller then the old Apple TV remotes and this helps so we don’t lose them.

This is basically required which is stupid. Why did they make their remote control able to shatter like glass when you drop it? You need this to counter their poor design.

I dropped my Apple remote & it cracked so this is EXCELLENT to prevent that- I got one for all the family remotes- there’s no interference w the signal unless u put it on incorrectly.

We were very excited to try this cover since our Apple TV remote often slippery to hold and with our older one hard to tell which part is the front. Sadly when we put it on the older remote it pressed the touchpad part down so that it would not register any new button presses. I thought perhaps it was because the cover was designed for the newer remotes. Sadly it had the same effect. We have not been able to use it for either remote. I would not recommend it.

The Apple TV remote needs a cover. This product serves its purpose and protects the remote but it is slippery and a bit soft. I would recommend this based on the low price and the fact that does make me feel better about my little boy handling it.

In apples infinite wisdom they designed a remote that would shatter if a child dropped it 2 feet. When I purchased a replacement for the first one I decide to buy this protector case for it. It does exactly what it supposed to do.
