Both work exactly the same, but the Insignia one is $5 cheaper and is lighter. This is the one I'm going to have in my bag for traveling now.

The larger magnetic head allows it to sit better on my countertop as well. Good buy!

Also, it does work. However, it gets very hot when charging the watch and the watch does also. This does not happen with the charge that came with the watch. It worries me enough that I only use this one for about a 5 to 10 minute charge. I missed the return window or I would have taken it back.

Better quality than the Apple one

It is a better-built quality than the apple one. The cable it is thicker and bulkier base but definitely will last longer. It charges my apple watch about the same time.

I wanted one with a shorter cable for when I travel. Same charging time as my Apple brand, and have seen no performance issues from my series 3 Apple Watch, in 3 months time.
