The charging block for my original Apple Watch cord does not work with this cable. Thankfully I was able to plug it into the USB port on my surge protector.

Pros: -It works -uses any existing apple charger/3rd party anker ones I use Cons: -Slower than actual apple watch charging chord. Don't know why, just doesn't charge as fast -Magnet isn't as strong/fitted/whatever as the apple one For the price, it's not a bad deal as a backup/travel charger. For my primary? I'll pass. If this is your everyday charger, I'd get an actual Apple watch cord. I can charge my watch about 20-30 min in the morning and night on the actual apple one, and it never dies. I was using the exact power adapter when comparing them (apple one included with the watch).
