Just needed a basic vacuum to clean up regularly after the cats and dog. First time out of the box seemed to work okay, then the more that was picked up, the dust started flying back out of the machine. Cleaned the dust container, checked that everything was attached properly, proceeded to vacuum then noticed it was spewing out almost as much as it was picking up. Now, of course, I'm past the narrow return window of 14 days and stuck with a $60 corner Decoration.

Flimsy piece of crap

The quality is next to dollar store and it’s performance to pick up is not very good as well. I thought cheap enough for the man cave but upon assembly I knew this was going back. I then used it , put it back in the box and returned it .

However this vacuum is straight out of fisher price kids collection. I got it and it was so cheap, the plastic wasn't even strong. I really do not recommend this to anyone. If you are curious you can always test it yourself.

I found out it need a belt when I saw extra belts inside the Manual , therefore I returned it since I want a bagless vac and not a vac that needs replacement belts in order for it to function. I just wish that the description of this vac included a very necessary information that even though it’s bagless it requires a belt , something that seems very antiquated and unconventional and not convenient.

The Achilles Heel is the dust cup release button, which is a mighty struggle to work properly. Maybe I got a bad one, but only the junk man will know for sure. Another Worst Buy from Best Buy.

Only useful on carpet

It just pushes the dirt around. I have a lot of sand in my place because of some work outdoors but this vacuum doesn’t pick any of it up. I end up having to sweep afterwards. I’ve loved the other Insignia items I’ve bought, but this is awful.
