Q: I am a senior citizen. How difficult is this to push on an average pile carpet?
A: It is a little hard to vacuum carpeting because the suction is so great, which is one of the things I like about it the most because I have a German Shepherd and two cats that shed a lot! If it gets too hard to push on the carpeting I just reach down and grab the handle that holds the canister and give it a little lift which helps. My carpeting is Berber, and I also am a senior citizen, if that’s any help at all. It is also easy to empty the canister and I am still very pleased with my purchase!
Q: how much does the vacuum weigh
A: It says in the specification that it weighs 9.1 lbs.
A: This is the most STUPID design flaw, I thought I was doing something wrong, it takes all the power away from the tool and pet brush attachment, The suction for the attachments is just not a good design. AND why would you want the roller & brush to keep going while your using the tools, Besides wearing out the motor & brush, you could hurt yourself as lifting the vacuum it could catch you or piece of your clothing. The guy who designed this is a true Moron. How hard could be to have a switch to stop the main Rollers & have all power & suction going to tool hose. ?????? Sometimes I think most people are just f....ing stupid. Obviously we have a lot of bright people out there but......some have no common sense. Now I know I will have to return.

A: The vacuum is no more/or less noisy than any other vacuum. As a matter of fact my little Eureka stick vacuum makes more noise than this machine. All in all a good vacuum for the money.
