Strangely the product comes with an install disk which only opens a link on the internet to download the driver. This wouldn't be a huge issue if the manufacturer provided a fast server download. For whatever reason it was about a 15 minute download to get the product installed.

I have windows 10 and can use my headset/microphone with cortana. My desktop computer didn't have Bluetooth. The adapter was easy to install and works great. If you don't have Bluetooth capability and need it, this adapter works great.
