Something in my system had a conflict with this adapter, so it did not work. I returned it, bought a different brand which has worked well. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with the USB adapter.

Could not load software. Checked online reviews after the fact, and this appears to be a common problem. Learned my lesson. Will be returning the product

The paperwork with it was out of date so I called the help number and they worked with me. The help desk was great but it didn't want to work with my upgraded to Windows 10 computer so I returned it.

This adapter kept knocking my laptop down. Finally it knocked it completely down, and I had to start from basics. Lost almost everything. Needless to say, I don't use the adapter any more.

I never could get the device to work. I had purchased the device because I wanted to use bluetoooth to pair wireless speakers with my computer. I followed the instructions and called Insignia support several times. I also took the device to a computer tech who tried for several hours to download the driver file (same problem that I had). The tech finally suggested that I return the device to Best Buy and get a refund. He said that the Insgnia Bluetooth adapter was a piece of junk. I returned the it to Best Buy for a full refund.

I work in the IT field. Although I do not specialize in Windows computers I have substantial experience with them - a power user, one could say. The drivers to support this adapter caused problems with the computers I attempted to use it with. I ended up getting a less expensive adapter with superior drivers to meet my requirements.

Item does not work, called insignia and they said the software is no longer operational and that I should return it,

I really don't know quite how to properly review this product. I bought it and could not get it to work. I took it back to the store to have Geek Squad help install it. They also could not get it to work.i tried another off the shelf and had them try that one, and it didn't work either. I returned it for a refund. If you purchase one, beware that it may not work for you!

I needed a Bluetooth adapter for my new LG flip phone and insignia tech support recommended this product. I have been trying for several weeks to get the phone and this adapter to pair up. It just won't pair up following Microsoft or Bluetooth / insignia instructions. Other blue tooth devices work fine on my 2 PC's w/o an issue; pairing was 1-2-3 Done ! I went to my local Best But store and they had no clue on their own product on what was going on.

Worked fine while I was in the same room as the computer, but from the doorway of the room the connection gets choppy, any further and it was pointless.

Bought thus for my Logitec Wireless keyboard and mouse, but didn't work with them, not even the brand new one I bought when I bought this.

Didn't work for me. I had to return it for the wireless mouse. I would recommend it to a friend who needs just this adapter.

The package said it was compatible with my computer and system but it did not work.

Worked ok. Was easy to set up and operate but had little range. Could not connect or communicate beyond the rooms doorway.

The man I spoke to on at Best Buy on the phone said I could use this to get sound out of my Music Hall USB-1 from my sound bar, which is 5 feet away from my phonograph. First of all this is a receiver, not a transmitter. So I returned it. Even buying a bluetooth receiver with a transmitter and receiver, it didn't work so well with this phonograph.

I tried to to several times and found out that it doesn't not work for Windows 10, even with the latest sowftware/driver downloaded and installed. After researching many Bluetooth adapters, I found out that the Broadcom software/driver has NOT been updated for Windows 10.

This product is not plug and play and doesn't come with a cd disk, you must go online for the driver, thus being forced to decide which download service is legit and doesn't have bloatware I tried three times before returning to store and rolling back my PC

I have one of these for my wireless mouse so figured connecting to my Bose speaker would be a snap. I was wrong. Don't know why and the instructions on troubleshooting were worthless.

Product does not work too well with Windows 7 computers. Do not recommend this item. Worked for about a week, and then despite saying it was connected, it did not perform as advertised.
