The range of connection leaves much to be desired. It has a range of maybe 20 feet with my headphones. My cellphone sitting right next to the computer has at least 3x the range for the same headphones.

Drivers pulled down identified it solely as a "Generic Bluetooth Radio" and none of my devices showed up when scanning for devices to connect. Found many other reviews here, Reddit, and Microsoft Support reporting the same issue. Contacted support chat, the "Geek Squad" agent told me to call Insignia Support. Insignia Support told me they could only read from the user guide and suggested that I contact Geek Squad.

Would not connect but as soon as I purchased the Asus Bluetooth adapter all my devices connected to my PC just fine. I would not recommend this adapter.

I wanted bluetooth browdcaster for my playstation. This is an ancient plugin only works with windows. Worst part is I didn’t even know what was i buying. Lady working at the shop said “oh i know what you want i am gonna order it for you and you will get it”

Works ok dose not work with linux systems

Curiously, a different generic dongle for an inexpensive replacement BT keyboard (purchased elsewhere later) DID recognize my mouse without me doing anything, while the "Universal" Insignia device could not.

Plugged it in and had noting but issues immediately. And the drivers arent public either.
