Now I can use my Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, or headset as needed. Works as expected.

OK performance for the price

That ASUS would drop the connection with a JBL660NC headset really often. This INSIGNIA is still finicky to connect (it pairs up quickly) and stay connected when plugged on the computer backpanel. That may be due to electronic interference/noise, not sure. Use into a USB 3 female to get better performance.
