That ASUS would drop the connection with a JBL660NC headset really often. This INSIGNIA is still finicky to connect (it pairs up quickly) and stay connected when plugged on the computer backpanel. That may be due to electronic interference/noise, not sure. Use into a USB 3 female to get better performance.

Excellent bluetooth adapter!

Unfortunately, it proved to be weak and continuously dropped the keyboard's bluetooth signal due to the particular layout of my workstation. Therefore, I went ahead and gave this adapter a try. So far, it has proven to be much stronger than the internal one and hasn't dropped the signal once. It's a good alternative if you face a similar problem.

Easy way to add Bluetooth to a desktop or older PC

If you have a laptop, it probably already has it built in, but I needed to add Bluetooth to a desktop in a pinch and this did the job perfectly. We are using a Bluetooth headset with it with no issues. Plug and play, so no drivers are required other than what the OS installs automatically.
