Poor quality

Keep your expectations in check and you'll be pleasantly surprised! Is this an Apple Magicmouse? No. Is this a super cheap alternative that pairs easily to wireless device for convenient UI interaction? TOTALLY. I'm using this on a Google Pixelbook to navigate easily from a desk and I've been delighted with it's size (easily portable- throw it in your laptop bag and you're good to go), it's form factor, and it's price point. It doesn't feel overly cheap despite the removable top portion being entirely one piece plastic. The top portion lifts off for your batteries (included, btw), while the bottom piece (also plastic) has really nice mouse sliding pads that feel responsive and smooth on a mousepad. The mouse tracks reasonably well and I've had no misclicks. There's a single pairing button on the bottom that you need to hold in to initiate pairing mode as well as a sliding switch to turn the mouse on and off. The mouse wheel is the achilles heel of this device. It is awkwardly shaped, wonky as it clicks through the scroll motion, and is a little slow. Beyond that- I have NO problem recommending this to anybody looking for a cheap Magicmouse lookalike. Pick one up and try for yourself. I think it's tremendous value.

Great Alternative for the Apple Magi Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been needing to replace my magic mouse for my iMac as it had been giving me problems but I didn't want to pay the $80 for the apple one. I happened to see this at BestBuy while browsing and picked it up to try it out with the intentions of returning it if it didn't meet expectations. This mouse has well surpassed any expectation I had. Some reviewers say it feels flimsy and like it's going to break. Have any of you held an apple mouse? The Insignia mouse feels much more solid and durable to me, plus the design to allow the top to come off to replace batteries is better than Apple's. Overall I enjoy this mouse better than the apple magic mouse and WAY better than the wired mouse that they sell. It doesn't have the multitouch features but I for one find the multi-touch to get in the way more often than I actually use it. This track wheel on this mouse scrolls up and down and can do side-scrolling when track wheel is pressed.

You have to click more than once a lot to use this mouse. It was easy to install on a Win10 OS, however using the mouse causes you to have to do more work than using other mice. A lot of times you feel like you are using the left click function only to have the right click option pop up. After two days of using this mouse I am left frustrated and will be returning it.

Attractive; but often won't connect after timeout

However, after the mouse times-out (goes to "sleep"), about half the time no matter what I do it will not connect. Click both buttons, wiggle the mouse, click the wheel...nada. Dead as a doornail. I have to remove the mouse from Bluetooth preferences, press the pairing button on the mouse and re-pair it to get it to work. Thanks can't be normal?

If you have a Mac, don't waste your money.

The first day it disconnected about four hours into my work day and would not reconnect. Tried again the next day and disconnected two hours later. Will be returning. Waste of money
