I've purchased a bunch of sub $50 speakers on Amazon that end up sounding lousy and break after a few months. I took a chance on this one cause it was on sale and I needed something to take to the beach next week. It's a bonus that it can charge a device and is water resistant. If you can find it at your store get one! It was worth every penny. I also like that you can stand it up. My only complaint is that it makes a weird crackle when you play music while charging it. Considering that it has a 40hr battery I'm not too bummed about that. Definitely buy it!
