Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good speaker, battery lasts a long time ,only drawback I can find is bass needs tuning from factory ,it is too low and in this case is not a good thing ,not sure exact frequency but sounds like 50hz bass but if they would cut very low bottom ,which you can't hear in small speakers like this anyway and bump bass more around 80hz frequencies ,just to watch not to make it thumpy hollow bass instead

Replaced my Brick w/ the Gen.

I have put my Brick up against some more $$$ units and the Brick won. This company can make a great product. So Brick 2 don't let me down. Lake/deck/dropped/rained on time will tell. But just turned it on and I wasn't disappointed. Clear voice and just enough bass.

I bought 2 to go on my deck because the description said you could pair multiple speakers together. You can NOT pair multiple speakers together. I wouldn't hesitate tod but another one but don't buy 2 thinking you can link them.

Speakers Crackle out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these units at my local store with the intent to use them as the rear for my surround home theater system. When I set them up, I tested with a mini-plug from my cell phone and there was a metal-ish vibration sound. I went full Bluetooth from my smartphone but the sound did not improve. I needed two for the rears and for the occasional trip out to the garage or yard. they are not good for either use. The noise was the same from both speakers out of the box so I tried multiple devices and volume settings. They only had ok sound at less than 25% volume on the speaker and low bass.

Thank you for taking the time to review this product. The speaker was manufactured to be used directly as a portable unit and to be used with mobile devices such as phones, tablets or even laptops.
