I already have an ethernet cable going through a wall. I needed it to be extended. This actually handles various different types of ethernet connections as well.

Works for connecting cables for Security Cameras

Use it to connect my 50 ft CAT5E cable to my 25ft CAT5E cable. Was able to connect to my POE switch and it works with no issues. For the price of just one of these, I would probably get a few for the same price else where. Can't guarantee on quality of other products but just thought it was a bit pricey.
