A lot of uses for this coupler

Also can extend an ethernet cable to make it longer.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.rj45 aka ethernet coupler excellent choice when you need to get it together easy peasy snapped right on it beat splicing or running new cable yeah for standards to make life easier it's black so it stands out in my application. if it were behind a desk no one woudl be likely to notice at a glance I would have bought a splitter if they had one works fine
