    It is difficult to find these in a brick and mortar store these days. I've purchased this a number of times for different projects. Never had a problem with them. My only wish it that these were made in Cat 6 format.

    If you need to put together to RJ45 ends to extend a LAN run then this is what you need. Was pleasantly surprised that they had these on the shelf at the store. One note and that is these also work with 4pin RJ11 ends so if you need to extend an old telephone land line these work for that as well.

    In-line coupler works great for switching out from one pc to another back and forth without wearing out the sensitive connections on the ethernet ports on the pc. Also can extend an ethernet cable to make it longer.
