    If you need to put together to RJ45 ends to extend a LAN run then this is what you need. Was pleasantly surprised that they had these on the shelf at the store. One note and that is these also work with 4pin RJ11 ends so if you need to extend an old telephone land line these work for that as well.

    While installing security cameras, I was only given sets of 100 ft. Two cord runs were few feet short from its destination. Luckily with this I was able to complete that run relatively easy. Saved myself a lot of time by not having to do another run with a longer cord.

    A little pricey, but good construction and solid feel. The cheaper Chinese units that can be found online, can easily fall apart. This one does not. Positive connection when you plug in ethernet cables. Buy in confidence!
