Two cord runs were few feet short from its destination. Luckily with this I was able to complete that run relatively easy. Saved myself a lot of time by not having to do another run with a longer cord.

This connector saved me from having to buy a separate and longer cat 5 cable. Clicked together easily and has a good solid connection.

These Cat5 couplers work well -- and come in handy

I used these at an IT event where cables were laid before furniture specifics were known. There were a couple instances where ethernet cables were too short. But NOT to worry! These Cat5 couplers worked as expected. I was able to connect an additional 15' CAT5 cable and had no problems. I use to have ones similar to this year back, but they must be in a box somewhere. They were convenient then, and then still are convenient today. If your ethernet cable is too short, I would recommend this product as it may save you time and money. The product seems durable and not flimsy. I just wish these were half the price :)

The cheaper Chinese units that can be found online, can easily fall apart. This one does not. Positive connection when you plug in ethernet cables. Buy in confidence!
