Had another cord, but the original cord is secured up across the ceiling to the input which is clear on the other side of room. So this works great as I can secure the old cable into this coupler without fear of jiggling it more broken that it is now and add my new cord on the other end. Nice and secure!

This coupler does the good perfectly and was reasonably priced too.

With wifi every where and in almost every home things like this aren't as popular and they are difficult to find. You can order online and get it cheaper but who wants to wait for something to a tribe when you can get it now? It probably costs the same in the long run between shipping and your cars gas etc etc. this item and tv head phones are getting so hard to find which is dumb. So many people want these things but stores never carry enough options.

Looked all over and finally found it at Best Buy. Just what I needed and if you need to extend your wiring it will save you time and money.
