I purchased this line coupler to extend the location of my router to a more favorable spot in the house. It did the trick so that I only need to purchase a short cat 5 wire.

Purchased 2.5 years ago to extend the cable for my main internet connection. Have not had any issues.

Works as it should. Needed another 25’ in a cable that was previously ran. Came in handy and works great.

We use these couplers to add length to our data lines and this one has proven to be superior than the lower cost alternatives. No distortion is noticed in the IP cameras as compared to other brands.

Does what is says it will do. Tested on my home network, seems to run just as fast as with one cable, but instead I'm further from my router!

I had gotten this coupler in hopes of being able to couple two Insignia Cat6 Ethernet cables. Unfortunately, on my end, it did not work at all. I had the coupler connect a 14' Ethernet and an 8' Ethernet cable. I did notice that the rating for the Ethernet coupler was set for a Cat5/Cat5e. This could very well be my mistake, however, it was the only Ethernet coupler available and offered. The build of it was plastic, felt like if you hit it hard it would break easily. Would not recommend for anyone planning on joining two Cat6 Ethernet cables. The purpose on my end was to create a hard wire connection to the Xbox One S. Ended up returning the adapter and buying a 25' Cat6 Insignia Ethernet cable.

I used about 3 of these to make a giant ethernet cord and it works perfectly

I bought these Insignia Coupler to extend my Cat5 wire to the next room at my house and it works great.

I purchased this to extend line a little further to my production desk to maintain a landline connection instead of WiFi. I've had no trouble with this, though I haven't investigated actual speeds. So far, downloads have been what I average with my other computer that plugs directly into my modem/router. So I don't think I've really lost any speed, but I've already got pretty fast speeds to begin with so if I did lose speed it's insignificant. If you rely on specific speeds and networking I can't vouch that it will be exactly what you need.

Used this to extend an existing cable to relocate my router. It worked great.

Works as advertised. I just needed it to connect two 6-foot ethernet cables together to move my computer a little further away from the router.

I purchased this to extend the microphone cable on my Icom mobile ham radio and it has performed better than expected. I will definitely purchase another one for my next radio.

This coupler was exactly what I needed. And Best Buy was the only store that had it; and to top that, it was reasonably priced! And convenient, with very helpful employees. I needed to have access to a very poorly placed router (yes, I have the old. non-wireless connection)m and this coupler enabled my use of the internet. Thank you.
