    I already had plenty of Ethernet cables but not one quite long enough for my project. I stopped by Best Buy on the chance of finding some sort of connector. I spoke to a store employee and he directed me to the connector. This was a low cost solution that works great. It allowed me to connect two shorter Ethernet cables together to get the length I needed without having to buy another cable.
