    works perfect for extending cat 6 rj-45 lines. I have used these for a while and never had a problem. sometimes you just need a couple more feet and this helps you get it

    Perfect tiny device for joining two cat 6 cables. I had a cat6 dragged to the upstairs IT area to connect to the internet as our fiber supplier had initially informed me that they would be delivering a sigma port panel. I was intending to use the sigma from our vendor to connect the two Cat6s that I had in that room apart from the computer. Not a sigma, therefore I had to find another way. The solution was found in this connector.

    I used it to extend my two 5ft ethernet cables. the quality of my new 10ft extended cable is very much the same as my original 5ft cable. i.e. I haven't seen any signal degradation. this coupler is very reliable.
