My 2 year old dropped it down on a carpet and it separated into two parts a few weeks after we bought it, we put it back and it now works with much improvising. Although this was not the fault of the manufacturers, I think it would not have broken down if it was a little stronger! Yet, buying accidental protection plan on a $60 item is also not a logical thing to do.

It plays CDs and cassettes and haddock a radio , have to say that it's hard to write fifty wirds about this , I mean it's just a great sounding radio , what more can ya say !

In order to push it in enough I have to hold the boombox so it doesn't slide backwards while I'm trying to start it or turn it off. It certainly doesn't replace the quality of sound I had with my old stereo system but it's the only thing I've found to play my recorded music.
