Q: Can I plug it in an outlet?
A: Yes, batteries are automatically bypassed when the AC power adapter is used.
Q: How strong is the reception range for the radio especially on AM?
A: The radio on the one I bought did not work. Had to take it back.

A: No, it is a little button that you flip back and forth to am or fm. there is a little window at the top of the cd player that has the station number lined up like a scale and you turn a dial or knob to pick up what ever station you can. All digital components were associated with the CD Player.

A: Yes, this model can record songs from the radio.
Q: Will this play CDs that were burned from a computer?
A: yes I have already played CD's burned off my computer
