• No, it is a little button that you flip back and forth to am or fm. there is a little window at the top of the cd player that has the station number lined up like a scale and you turn a dial or knob to pick up what ever station you can. All digital components were associated with the CD Player.

• It is digital in the sense that the tuning is done by setting the station number on a display not by twisting a dial. The tuner is not a high sensitivity or AM stereo tuner.
