Large display so easy to see. Clock has bright and dim settings so can be dimmed for bedroom use. Setting of clock is not bad, however there are instructions which make it easier than if just trying to figure it out on your own. I bought an open box unit, so reduced price was a plus.

The instructions are not clear for setting the time. The buttons should be marked hour and min. Instructions state to select arrow buttons repeatedly first to set time. You don’t. You push the button with the circle and arrow, THEN select the up and down arrows to select time.

Unpacking the unit, found the antenna that was coiled up, was looped through the end connected to the radio and made it impossible to unwrap and extend. About a month into use, several of the display segments started failing. A normal person would have brought it back for exchange but I work with SMT assemblies and fixed it myself. The main IC, U2 had several pins that were not soldered properly and were just touching the copper trace. Resoldered the chip and fixed the antenna while I had it apart. Interestingly, the radio is 100% digital. No RF transformers or chokes. In all, you can't beat the price and BestBuy stands by their products.

I had this for a day. It was ok. Sound was okay too, but not the greatest. It worked well, though! Buttons were kinda confusing. Managed to figure them out. I had to return because I needed something different.

I purchased this alarm clock for it's large display and ability to receive both AM and FM radio. It has been very dependable and I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this clock to replace the one I broke at work but once I got it home and played around with it, I kept it for home use. It's been great so far and thinking about buying a second one for work....

It felt cheap right out of the box. The plug wouldn't stay put to make contact in my wall outlet. It was kind of complicated to set up - took a while just to figure out how to set the time and no, of course I didn't read the instructions. But honestly it should be intuitive enough that I can figure out how to set the time five years from now when the instruction manual is long gone. But the deal-breaker was the poor reception. I gave up my Sony cube because I could no longer read the numbers wirhout my glasses. I didn't want to spring for their pricey projection model. I figured there couldn't be that much difference between two $20 clock radios. I was wrong. Stations The Sony pulled in easily were nothing but static on this radio even with the wire "antenna" fully extended The numbers on this clock are green, big, and bright (but can also be dimmed) so I could see them easily. That was the only plus for me. But what good is a clock radio if I can't wake up to a radio station I actually want to listen to? It's going back, and it looks like I'll be springing for that expensive Sony after all.

Purchased this based on the image shown. Was looking for a clock I could place on the opposite side of the bedroom. This clock has been great!

This Insignia dual-alarm clock radio is a great, no frills alarm clock. Easy to set up and program. Fits the bill without all the proprietary bells and whistles. If all you need is the basics to lull you to sleep and wake you up, with a large display, this is it. Sleep, wake, snooze and battery back-up. Great price, too.

Not to bright that you cant sleep, not to dull that you cant see...in other words - Perfect! with this price, it's a steal

The clock and display is very good, bright and easy to see. The radio, however, is terrible. The sound quality is very tinny and setting the stations was very hard. I was so disappointed with the radio sound. But I guess you get what you pay for. I only bought this because it had good reviews.

I bought this in 2020 and I still use it today. I wish it had an indicator so you knew if the light was dimmed or not, but other then that it's great.

The clock is a good value, as it's cheap compared to other brands. Works well; yes, hard to set time and alarms. However, mine does _not_ work on AA batteries. I've tried many brands, but only works when plugged in. Overall, it's a good cheap clock.

As I get older, my sight is getting worse. I was looking for a clock radio that had large display so that I could see it across the room, without having to hunt for my glasses. This is it! I set this on my dresser, so that I must get up to turn it off. The issue was the former clock radio was back-lit so I only saw a glow. This has big numerals that either my wife or I can see. Exactly what we were looking for.

Bought this radio as I need a replacement for my current failing one. I was surprised with a pile of junk. It is made out of cheap material and weighs close to nothing so you can tell its very cheaply made. The clock itself is fairly bright which was probably the best thing about it. Speaker for the radio was laughable and the function was very poor. Buttons and setup was very difficult as well. I would highly recommend skipping this radio.

This is a great clock. I needed for my teen children. Great investment.
