Q: Not sure how to reset time on my insignia clock radio
A: Hold down the Mem/Preset button until the hours start to blink then, quickly let go of the Mem/Preset button and, using the volume up or down buttons, click on one or the other to adjust the hours time. This is helpful when you are resetting the time for daylight savings time in the spring or fall. Hold down the Mem/Reset button again to change the minutes, if necessary, using the same volume buttons to adjust the minutes. Do not hold down the Mem/Preset button while trying to make hour or minute adjustments with the volume buttons since that will keep adjustments from happening. The radio has to be in stand-by mode to allow time adjustments to be made. Hope this helps.
Q: setting time on clock radio
A: You can use up and down arrows. You don't need to go all the way around.
Q: What is the LCD size on this clock radio?
A: Numerals are 1.5 inches tall, and have two lighting levels.
Q: Does the radio get louder if set to wake to music
A: Yes it does start out low and gets louder until the setting you set it at. I have to admit it is a nice feature no more all the sudden blast of music. Like I said in a review I wrote the sound quality isn't all that great but it is fine to wake up to, I don't use it for anything other than to wake me up.
Q: I need a clock radio that gets good reception in AM. Any ideas?
A: The positon of the radio affects the AM reception.
A: Yes it has a wire, sticking out from the back. It is a black coated wire. It works well enough for me to listen to FM stations. I have had it for several weeks, and it has received reception well.
Q: What does zzz button mean and what does it do?
A: Hi, the ZZ button will enable the sleep setting on the clock. When the sleep timer is set, the radio will turn off depending on the time you've programmed this setting. You can set the radio to go off either 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes and this will avoid the radio to stay on for long periods of time. Daniel T. - Insignia Support
Q: can stations be preset and how many?
A: Yes....up to 10....A.M. Or F.M.
