He constantly said he forgot to set his alarm when I would ask why he didn't get up when he should have. This product has giving him new life! lol He likes it so well I have not had to remind him to set his alarm since I gave it to him. Each morning he has been up before me and gotten some of his chores done. Great product with great results!

However, display even on the lower setting the display was too bright in a dark bedroom -- to remedy I bought ClearGuard clinging auto shade and put 2 layers over face of display to obtain an acceptable light level.

The radio works and is an option instead of the alarm but of course is just noisy if too loud. The controls are a bit different from some I have had in the past. If you choose to use the radio for the alarm the volume can be set separately from your normal listening volume.

The reception is very good and it doesn't take up too much space on my nightstand. One of the best thing I like is the size of the numerals. They are large and, just as important, they are blue, not the usual red. The blue is easier on the eyes and has the ability to be dimmed if you so choose. Needless to say, I love it.
