Used as a replacement for my older alarm clock. The buttons, layout, and size were perfect and it was less than $20, which is even better. But, sometimes you get what you pay for, which is the case here. The display started fading after two days and eventually ranged from blank to fully bright and visible to some display, some dimmed, some not displayed. I'm not sure if this is due to the clock itself or to the windstorm that caused the power to flicker (never lost power, never tripped surge breakers). So, hopefully you'll have better luck than I did. If not, it's less than $20 so not the biggest loss I've ever had.
