Remote doesn't respond to key touch and unit is missing very basic functions. Description on web-site and printed instructions in Owner's Manual are not complete. Not a good introduction to Insignia (Best Buys In-House brand.)

But a huge problem is you cannot turn on or off the TV with it; it requires another remote... also, the buttons are hyper-sensitive: if you barely touch a number or the mute, the signal rapid fires and the channel input and mute spasm out.

The Program Guide only shows the current program for whatever channel is selected (no subsequent programs are shown). I tried disabling power save so I could record a program over night but several times since I setup unit it has gone into power save in the middle of the night so I did not get the program recorded. This has occurred most recently on November 27, December 6, 7, 11 and 12. I expect disabling power save to keep unit on all the time.
