Better menu with signal rating fir each channel. RCA has mini channel guide AND USB DVD recirding. Insignia only pro is that it has a nicer remote than the RCA but that's the only positive. RCA has hdmi port and same features as insignia with hdmi but sells for 20-30$ less.

I plug the antenna directly to the tv and get more channels now. It was nice when it did work with the program guide, but it stopped working right after the return policy ended.

I have an analog Slingbox that I wanted to use with an Altice One Digital cable box. The Cable box only has digital HDMI and the Slingbox has analog RCA plugs. I bought this unit to make the conversion but it couldn't read the digital HDMI signal from the Altice One box so I returned this purchase
