Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.To start off, I gave it four stars because of one big issue. If your antenna isn't strong enough to pull long range signals, don't expect all your current channel(s) to be there. It doesn't matter if you got them before on your TV with a built in tuner or not. This box will only allow access to those channels pulled in with your current antenna. You can't manually punch in any channel, unless it was picked up during the scan process, which is a common complaint with this product. Because of my situation, I bought a inside/outside antenna to remedy that issue. My current antenna (Gov't free one) wasn't working well anyway (it pulled all the major stations but you were subject to them going in and out by just walking past it). Still, this could be a possibility for you, if you go with this tuner. At $80, is also a bit high, especially with the above issue but I didn't feel a better product was out there for less, especially if you want to connect using HDMI. $50-60 seems more reasonable for it but this is an exclusive product to BB and not much out there that is comparable IMO. If you can wait and catch a sale or if more products come out to compete, I would recommend going that route
