does the job it's supposed to do. My work computer didn't have an HMDI port but my monitor did. got this and the problem was solved.

Simply put, this fills the need. It is well constructed and light in weight. And, it works. Recommend this to everyone.

Expensive but it works, i needed a quick fix to get some users in my office setup and ran to bestbuy to get these.

While reading the reviews, they said that this item would work for hdmi out to dvi in. That is wrong this is for dvi out to hdmi in. It is not bi-directional. Good build quality, nice product, just be sure its what you are looking for.

You don't have much of a choice in today's age for a graphics card that does not have this (or the mini version) type of ports in it. This does th job.

Works great for converting HDMI to Display Port. We have purchased several of these and they all work as expected.

Needed to this to add a second display, as my PC only has one HDMI output and three DisplayPort outputs, and it works beautifully. Haven't had a single problem.

Does exactly what it was designed to do. The physical tolerances on both connections are nice and tight. The HDMI cable doesn't wobble when you plug it in.

My laptop has a DisplayPort connector. This adapter is great when I need to present content from my laptop and connect to a display or TV that only has an HDMI input.

I have some old Dell Optiplex PCs. They do not have an HDMI so this adapter makes it possible to view the video output on HUGE LED TVs.

I bought this to plug in our projectors at the church to our media computer. It works great with no distortion. Could have been a little cheaper for such a small part, though.

Needed an additional HDMI output on a GeForce 1080 chipset card. Cannot discern difference in display quality between a native Displayport output and an identical monitor connected with this via HDMI. Satisfied for cost and purpose.

This adapter works nicely as advertised on the package, DP->HDMI. Though it would be good to note on the box that the reverse does not work. I.e. If someone has an HDMI source and a monitor with DP input, this adapter will not work.

Perfect solution for hooking our PC up to the TV. It transmits the video and audio over the hdmi cord perfectly.

I purchased this item to connect my mixed reality headset to my rx580 gpu. Plug in to display port plug in hdmi, good to go. fast and easy, no problems.
