    I have used this for PC's at the office as we always tend to be a few years behind with tech. IMO, best use case is displayport from PC to HDMI on tv or monitor. I will always remember lg displayport fondly as I haven't yet delved into the world of mini-displayport (probably will soon). The adventurer in me tried going from my home PC HDMI out to my Samsung ultrawide monitor lg displayport in and it did not carry signal (which I expected) but I had to try anyway-lol.
