    I bought this for my wife so she can dock her laptop work computer to our desktop LG 27" HD monitor. Her laptop does not have an HDMI port. I had tried a VGA to HDMI Converter that cost 3x as much and it didn't work. Return that and bought this, works great, no problems and she now can use two monitors and is able to work with ease from home.
