This item met my immediate need.

It fully met my need and I am overall satisfied with the item. I did some post shopping just to see what others were available and would have preferred a dongle type adapter, no cable, I saw rather than this one with a cable that joins the two connectors. I could not find that Best Buy carried any dongle style adapters at that time.
