Bought this to run a HDMI connection from older Monitor into new computers video card's display port input. Cost a little more than I could have found one for elsewhere, but wanted at the moment so purchased at local store. Works well.

This adapter came in handy while connecting a secondary monitor to a desktop that had only a VGA and Display Port input. The secondary monitor had an HDMI output and I was able to use this adapter to connect the monitor to the Display port.

I got this because I have a wacom 13 HD tablet and I needed to convert an HDMI and I really didn't want to spend a lot of money overall I recommend this product and I've had no problems whatsoever

I needed a simple cable to bridge a connection between a computer monitor and a docking station with specific ports. Since this is not a common connection, I was relieved when I found the cable at a reasonable price.

Works as anticipated and worth the money. Highly recommend for Dell docking stations, have a pair of these running through to save the single HDMI port for third screen capability.

I purchased this adapter to attach to an HDMI cable which, ultimately, extended the distance between my laptop and the wall port for the SmartBoard in my classroom. The adapter works well; it has been a seamless addition to my classroom tech setup.

This was more of a temporary solution until my custom cables arrived. It works as advertised. No issue at all, and glad to have it as a “just in case” adapter for the future.

I have a GTX 1070 and needed to use another HDMI cable. Using this has done the job. Connecting this to old 720p TV though resulted in a bad signal/picture. Also, the connection at times seems to stop and start again, but during regular use, this does not happen. Issues only occur on PC startup.

I purchased this item to carry in my laptop bag. One of the places I use my laptop does not have the correct interface cable so the adapter was necessary. It is "entirely satisfactory". Thank you.

If you want to run an HD TV at 60fps from a DisplayPort graphics card output, this works fine. If you want to run a 4K TV, this adaptor will give you 30fps, but you need an active adaptor to run at 60fps.

This adapter was perfect! Quick and easy to use. A bit pricey when you need two of them but they were the only ones available in store and I needed them asap with no time to wait for anything cheaper to ship.

Beware of cheaper versions of this type of adapter. They might not work due to older code. A bought cheaper adapters and they did not work with a my HP computers and HDMI display regardless of setting. This adapter did - bought 2.

Works fine and allowed me to hook up a second monitor to my video card with an HDMI cable as no one (including Best Buy) seems to sell the DisplayPort cables. Oddly enough, I purchased both my video card and both monitors I own there, but they, and everyone else, have plenty of HDMI cables. In any event, this worked fine without any issues.

I used this to connect my 3rd monitor to my GPU. The monitor only had a HDMI port left, and I had already used up the HDMI port on the graphics card. This allowed my to use the Display port from the GPU to the HDMI port in the back of the monitor.

Works perfect once I figured out the monitor setup for my PC since I now use 2 screens. Does exactly what I need it to do. Havent had any problems with using for a adapter for my primary monitor.

needed it to user a loaner/replacement 'loaner' laptop from work. Plugged right in, the laptop recognized it and the ultrawide display and set it up automatically. Did the job.

When I bought new computer also purchased two monitors. Sales associate recommended and the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter worked like a champ. Definitely recommend if buying 2 monitors and need adapter.

When I purchased this adapter it was to use with my HDMI monitor and I went in not expecting much. I can safely say that I was pleased to have purchased this adapter it works perfectly for my 2nd monitor and I have had no issues at all using it.

I used this to add a second display to my computer and it has performed flawlessly. If your video card has am open DisplayPort connector, this and an HDMI cable are all you need to extend to two monitors.
