does exactly what I wanted it to do. decent price. While Best Buy ius no longer my go-to spot for computers, it is still my first stop for accessories.

Needed an adapter for our work laptops to connect to an HDMI cable to connect/display on tv. This adapter was exactly what we needed and the staff at BestBuy were a great help in helping us find exactly what we needed for our situation.

I bought this adapter to use at work because I use dual monitors, but the docking station that I have only has one HDMI port. I've been using it for a month and it works as advertised.

I bought this for my mom's new pc that didn't have a DVI connection built in, but it had the display port. I had some issues getting the sound to work correctly, but finally figured that out.

This is a easy to use product. Just plug it in and it is good to go. This allows newer DisplayPort only computers to work with older monitors so that you can save some $$$.

My HP laptop only has a display port output for an external monitor or projector so this adapter is required if your monitor or projector only accepts HDMI and your computer only has a display port output.

Used with old refurbished but very capable Windows 7 PC. Only had multiple display port connects rather than HDMI. This adapter cable was all that was needed to enable use of my new monitors.

Needed this cable to connect a monitor to a computer. Nothing special and works as designed. Might be able to find it cheaper on Amazon but not sold by them so couldn't use price match feature.

My Dock had 2 display ports and my monitors were HDMI. These easily solved the situation. Next time though I would just get a display port to HDMI cable instead of something inbetween

Device was purchased to connect my a Dell Lattitude E6510 to the HDMI ports on a Samsung 32 inch Smart TV, to use as a monitor. The standard HDMI cables do not connect to port on the laptop without this adapter. Fairly decent price.

It was a replacement for my old adapter that failed to function. I was glad I did. It is now working well with my new video card which had available DisplayPort connectors.

We use these on devices that exclusively use the DisplayPort and require the use of an additional monitor. This one was to provide for a third monitor in one of our offices. No issues whatsoever. Plug it in and reset the monitor order.

It does the job. I haven't run into any problems with it, but it's just an adaptor so I would be surprised if I did. Do I recommend it? Yes

I purchased to connect my work laptop up to 43 LED TV to use as a monitor. This was great affordable option over purchasing a custom length display port to HDMI cable.

Have you ever wondered what that weird connection port is on your PC? Kind of looks like HDMI but that will not fit. It's a display port and this adapter will make the HDMI connection complete to your monitor.

This is my 2nd purchase of this cable, as I gave my first one to my niece. This is a good deal for the price and has lasted much monger then previous cables I have used. I recommend the cable adapter over just getting the end converter, as I have had many issues with those, in the past.

I bought this for my VR setup and it worked great. If you are buying for the vive or any other that requires a display port to HDMI adapter, i would recommend this one.

Works as intended, especially for use in monitors, i would say there is no display loss. I use it with 2 of the same monitors, 1 HDMI 1 DVI because of my graphics card, looks exactly the same

Needed this in a pinch for a Dell computer to connect to Samsung monitors. Worked as needed what more can I say?
