I could have bought a 6 foot cord for the same price as this adapter, but I think that by having it as an adapter it will allow me flexibility down the road if I need to lengthen or shorten the cable.

I'm sorry to say that, although it worked fine, the first time I tried to unplug it, the casing separated from the part you plug into. It was as if it should have snapped together but instead it was glued with a sticky glue. It doesn't really want to go back together. I wanted it for a location (in the school where I teach) where I'd be plugging and unplugging it repeatedly, so this will not work for me.

More of my presentations require a HDMI connection. Not sure why my laptop doesn't have one. It works great right out of the box.

Yes it advertises 4K and 2K video support but it doesn't offer true 4K at 60hz. Will only do 30hz, but does support 60hz on 1080p. Does not work with HDMI 2.0 or 2.0a(HDR) or DP 1.2

Seems to work fine, but there is some loss of sharpness on the screen but I think it's due to the MS Surface Pro 3 not liking the Surface docking station. The docking station kinda stinks.

I bought this adapter to connect my laptop to another monitor to be able to work from home but it didn’t work. My laptop outlet is just the HDMI and the monitor outlet is the DP. I connect the adapter to the monitor then the HDMI cable to the adapter into my laptop but it only say that there is no signal coming from the computer. If the description would’ve say the adapter was “Unidirectional” I wouldn’t buy it. I’m going to return this item.

This is a really nice monitor. I wasn't sure about the curve but I have 2 and it works perfect with the curve. Super clear.

I thought this would be a simple adapter to use, but it did not work for me. I have an HP laptop with a display port output that I wanted to show on an HDMI monitor or TV. Tried everything I could to get it to work, made sure laptop was powered, checked settings, etc. I don't have a problem with the VGA output on my laptop or using the Display Port output with a different adapter at work. Not sure if mine was just defective or what. I returned it. Best Buy is the best for returns!

It was great to find this at a store and not have to order online! But alas, for some reason the sound is not coming through the cable. Had to return for a replacement that now works good.

This works perfectly to connect my second monitor to my tower. Great quality.

Did not work. Maybe it will work for you? I have no clue. If you want to try mine is shoved in a drawer somewhere.

It was an open box item, but sticker guaranteed by best buy that it is working good, unfortunately it was intermittent when I used it - sometimes work most of time not.

It works but is way overpriced in my mind. If this is your only option get it, if not don’t.

works great and does what it is supposed to. My son uses it to connect his gaming computer to his 32" HD TV.

This product worked exactly as designed and the adapter worked perfectly with no problems. Connectivity was great.

The display port to hdmi adapter worked perfectly for me as I needed to free up and hdmi slot on my graphics card to have enough bays open for my oculus rift.

Better off investing in a direct cord. The connection on the adapter is weak.. as Boyz II Men once said Motown Philly’s Back Again

Needed an alternate connector to an older model laptop for HDMI connectivity, This worked like a charm

I purchased this as my laptop only has an regular Display Port. used this for about 1 week and stopped working. Returned and purchased a different brand.
