signal unstable, just get the HDMI to DP cable

Switched to a true cable (HDMI to Displayport) and now it works all the time. Also, the plastic sheath around the HDMI adapter slipped right off with no excessive pressure, exposing the port. So If you attach it, watch out when you unplug the HDMI cable.
