It only worked for 4 months

When I tried it today half the time I wouldn't register my TV and when it did I just wouldn't project it. I replaced it and the other on works fine.

It's an easy fix u just have to disconnect then reconnect it from the displayport end or hdmi end sometimes both and the picture comes back.

I looked it up, and it's a very common problem. It's garbage. Get a Roku

Keep in mind some motherboards with onboard video will not allow you to use this as the sole display. Only as a second screen. Adapter itself is fine.

Awkward design should be longer

It is about 10 inches long making it hang out of the back of your computer and all the weight of the hdmi cable is placed on your display port causing damage.
