This didn't work with my computer. So I had to return it. It actually didn't work for any of my computers.

I thought it would make me able to broadcast my ps3 to a computer montior, but it did not.

This was part of a wireless display adapter that did not work as expected for me.

I bought this and took it home would not work at all so returned.

These adapters worked great for hooking up my two new monitors to my existing docking station, and simple to do....

I purchased this product to allow me to use my HDTV as a monitor for my laptop. My idea was to be able to used my laptop while in bed by connecting it to my TV and use a wireless keyboard and mouse. It works great. I can do work or stream movies etc. while my laptop is across the room. This product fit the bill just fine.

This small piece was very beneficial for connecting my monitor and I spent less money for other products.

At first I couldnt find the displayport area but then once I found it I could use a additional monitor! It works great!

I ordered a couple of open box Dynex adapters, and they sent me the Insignia ones instead. Not a big deal, since the Insignia ones are more expensive. One of the adapters came with a dent in the plastic casing, but they seemed to work okay. The adapters are finicky about being pushed in ALL THE WAY. The least bit out and they don't work. There's no button the plug-in end to lock the end into the port that some adapters have. The Dynex one worked flawlessly with my other computer. This one I've had issues with. As I said, the monitor initially wouldn't work because it wasn't pushed in ALL THE WAY. I was using a second adapter to go to a TV, and I rebooted my computer once and the video didn't come onto the TV. I had to unplug and replug, and it worked again. I rebooted once more, and it worked also. Hopefully since it's a desktop computer and won't be moved often, if ever, I won't have any further issues. But do yourself a favor and order the Dynex one instead. It's less than half the price and works better. Unfortunately, Best Buy chooses only to carry the Insiginia one in store because it costs more. I would have exchanged it for a Dynex one if the return policy was more than 14 days. Also, I went to the Best Buy store twice to try and return something else, and was told 2 hour wait for returns, TWICE! Completely unacceptable IMO. I went around noon on a Saturday, and Right around 5 PM on a Monday.

It's a pretty simple product and it does what it is supposed to do without compromised. Saved me a headache

I purchased this adapter for my oculus rift & GTX 1070. Worked fine initially but noticed some problems with connectivity from the rift, Oculus seemed to always think the HDMI was unplugged unless I manually unplugged it and plugged it back in. I thought it was possibly a problem with Oculus or possibly my video card. Over the coming months the problem degraded to the point where my Oculus would not work at all. I came to the point where I had to make a decision to troubleshoot the problem and as usual...you start with the cheapest solution (which for me was a new Displayport adapter) I went to local store and picked up a different brand which comes with a lifetime warranty for $10 cheaper and I have had NO problems since. Like most insignia products this is both inferior in quality and over priced with only a 1 year warranty that you must prove with a receipt. Never again.

I like this adapter better than rigid DisplayPort to HDMI adapters I have used in the past. Flex cable allows for better space utilization. Product works great!

I needed an HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter in order to connect my HTC Vive to my GTX980 graphics card since my HDMI and DVI ports were already being utilized by my TV and monitor, leaving only the 3 DisplayPorts. When I plugged the adapter into the DisplayPort, it did not sit properly due to the size of the plug. I sanded off some of the plastic at the top of the adapter and then it connected perfectly. Other than that, I have had had no issues with it so far!

Bought as a gift for someone and they have enjoyed it so far.

This brand worked really well. I had no trouble with the set up and installation of this adapter.

The adapter is a DisplayPort to HDMI, not the other way around. It clearly says this in the name of the product and does not try to dissuade buyers. Must Read. The product itself is 'OK' it does not support above 1080p resolutions officially and should not be used if you were planning on using something of this like for a VR headset or 4k monitor/TV, as both of those exhibit much more detail and data than 1080p.

Products at best buy including this purchase often help in a time crunch for my business.
