I bought this specifically for use with Oculus Rift, as my video card has only a single HDMI port, which I was already using to connect a 4K TV. I connected the adapter to the first available DisplayPort, connected Oculus Rift to the adapter, and it's worked seamlessly since. I have not had to disconnect or otherwise fiddle with the adapter at all. Very happy. (I'm using a GTX 1070.)

I was sent home with my work PC to work remotely. When I tried to set up my own two monitors, I discovered that I needed Display Port connections instead of HDMI. I ordered two adapters on line and they were ready when I arrived at the store. They have worked perfectly since I installed them two weeks ago.

I needed a cable to adapt my small form factor PC to my monitor for my new PC. My monitor has an HDMI port, and my PC didn't, so instead of ordering a cable for my monitor, I looked at Best Buy's website for adapters, and they had this little gem. Priced low, and small enough so I don't have a long cable hanging down behind my monitor.

What a breezy easy installation this made my dual monitor set up. Got 3 Display ports and only 1 hdmi but running a multi monitor set up with hdmi only monitors? This will get you taken care of. Simple plug and play, presto! Its so good it improved my relationship with my wife with ease of install.

This is a Great Product! Just as I expected, even better! Made my set up a lot easier! I am glad I found this! I did a lot of research, checking different options! For my application this was the best! You won’t regret getting this, a great product and a great buy!

There isn't much to say here, other than that this adapter works exactly as it should. I only have one HDMI port on my NVIDIA 1080, but I needed two ports to connect my Slate Raven MTI2 system for Pro Tools. This adapter worked perfectly to convert from a Display Port to an HDMI port, and the connection to the displays work as they should.

Used this to plug in a second monitor to computer. Computer had limited USB and HDMI ports, but had a displayPort not used. Most monitors today only have HDMI connections, so this is the connector to use. Works great, never had a problem.

I needed one of these for an external monitor on my laptop. I found many online but opted for the insignia brand. It may not be the best for gaming, but I am using this for work and it seems just fine. No need to pay a premium price if it isn't necessary.

This does the job for what I need. Having some older monitors that don't use display port I opted for this adapter. It does the job and allows me to use an HDMI cable on the extra display ports on my graphics card with no issues.

Does what it needs to do. Allows for HDMI connection from IBook to any HDMI equipped TV. Insignia brand is of course Best Buy's in house. I have never been disappointed with Insignia quality. Own several TVs and many accessories. Always good value for price and the price is always better than non-sale national brand merchandise.

I have two monitors that connect via HDMI but my new computer only had one HDMI monitor port and 3 display ports. This adapter only took a few seconds to attach and worked like a charm. I have had it a few months and it is still working without issue.

My wife needed this cable to connect a second monitor to her Dell Workstation to work from home. Our monitor had HDMI cable and we needed to plug into the display port socket on the workstation. The cable works perfectly!

I needed to hook a desktop computer up to a new monitor (not TV, there is a difference), that like many these days only has a HDMI port. The computer only has a DisplayPort and VGA port and I obviously wouldn’t be using VGA. I read up on DisplayPort and while there are some significant differences between it and HDMI, but none of those differences mattered to me for computer monitor use. I also learned that there are three physically different types of HDMI connectors (Type A, B and C) and two different types of DisplayPort connectors. And I learned that a passive adapter cable is all that is necessary to convert from one to the other.

Needed this adapter to connect my two HP monitors to the docking station. Docking station only had one HDMI port and one Displayport. This helped connect both monitors to the HP docking station. Works flawless.

I purchased this to use with my Dell laptop docking station which allows for connecting a monitor via display port, so that I could connect two monitors. It works for my purpose and cheaper than a cable with display port on one end and hdmi on the other.

I just bought a new $2000 rig and one of the things I immediately knew I needed was a DisplayPort-HDMI adaptor. I didn't want to spend too much so I bought one for $10. That was a really bad mistake on my part. Upon arrival, I plugged it in along with my headset and nothing happened! I was really disappointed. Spent probably over 5 hours trying to get it to work but nothing ever came from it. So I did some research and found this product. For $25 it seemed a bit steep considering I wasn't sure if it worked, but I took the risk. Needless to say, as soon as I plugged it in along with my Samsung Odyssey+, it worked flawlessly! Sometimes spending the extra money can be rewarding, and in this case, it absolutely was.

I needed this gizmo after I purchased a new graphics card. The graphics card's output was Display port, but my monitor uses an HDMI and I already had an HDMI cable, so this filled the gap, seamlessly.
