BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE MY MONITOR DID NOT HAVE A DISPLAYPORT INLET. THIS WORKS WONDERFULLY AND SUCH GOOD QUALITY FOR THE PRICE.

Works perfectly & is just what was needed to solve the problem of getting a signal from HDMI TV to my older computer.

Be aware that this adapter only goes one direction, it will ONLY work when sending signal out to HDMI. Also, I don I needed it because my graphics card only has DisplayPort outputs, so I used this to send it out to HDMI to my TV.

Bought this to connect my wacom cintiq pro to my desktop graphics card. Works well and does what I need it to.

Wanted to convert hdmi to displayport. this does not do that. will keep it for its intended use though. overall a good product, even though my original use case could not be fulfilled.

my old Fujitsu has a slightly different plug in for HDMI, needed this adapter to connect to the big TV monitor; Basically plug and play, very easy to set up and use.

needed to connect a computer to an insignia tv and required an adapter as only had an hdmi cable and there was only a displayport connection on the computer ... adapter works fine expensive but acceptable

Needed this to extend my work laptop to an external monitor. It was a little more than I wanted to pay but it does the job and saves my eyes when working.

This converter, solved my ordeal. I use a Wacom Clintiq Tablet (purchased at BestBuy) and I wanted to be able to watch my online classes on one screen and follow along in my programs on the Tablet. I was having to watch the class and then minimize to work in the program because I saw the same thing happening on both screens. A few minutes visit to the Geek Squad, a demonstration and purchase of this product and I am now happily able to do work efficiently at my studies.
