I purchased a new computer with a DisplayPort connector but didn't have that as an option with my monitor. This made it easy to connect the HDMI cable to the adapter and then computer and it works seamlessly.

Worked as it should. My year old computer didnt have an HDMI input so this connects it to my monitor now. Been using for months and still works great.

Easy to install and operate, this display port to HDMI adapter works perfectly for my new iBuyPower gaming PC. This device was needed to allow a second HP 1080p display monitor to be added.

I bought this as my laptop doesn't have HDMI port. This connector exactly is what I was looking for. I was able to connect the Display port on one side to laptop and connect HDMI cable from my TV on the other side. Be able to play my Laptop contents onto TV.

Used this for my old Dell laptop dock that doesn’t have any HDMI outputs. Was cheaper to buy this than to buy a display port to HDMI cable. Works great with no issues!

I use this to help with displaying with my graphic design monitor and I have had no issues with it.

If you need to connect an older monitor to HDMI then is will do the trick. I used an older monitor and older video card and poof this worked perfect. No issues what so ever, and it's plug and play.

This adaptor allows me to use two monitors with my computer. I works flawlessly and was easy to install. The computer recognized the second monitor with no problem.

I was glad Best Buy had this adapter since my laptop only has a DisplayPort. The HDMI beats VGA in resolution anyday since I do not have to dim the lights when using a projector. HDMI cable needed to work with this adapter.

I love my laptop and needed a connector for my docking station. This was the only option. As a product it is great. If I had an HDMI out on the docking station, I would not need it. Otherwise it has worked perfectly.

Works great so far - no problems at all (Win7, Roku TV). Tried the Dynex version of this adapter first, and it failed out of the box.

My old Dell monitor has a DVI port. I already had a cable with a DVI-to-HDMI plugs on hand (purchased back in Oct). Used this setup to attach the monitor to my IPad Pro 12.9 w/Hyper Drive with a HDMI port. I used this setup for 6 months for school without any issues. When I started working from home, I used the same setup to attach my laptop (with a display port) using my existing Dell Monitor. This Insignia DisplayPort-to-HDMI made the hookup easy and it worked perfectly. Definitely recommended for laptops with a display port. Allowed me to use my laptop screen and a second monitor for dual monitor capability.

I bought a new monitor to hook my laptop up to and realized that my laptop has only a display port, not an hdmi port. I was pleased to find this at bestbuy for such a reasonable price.

Needed to use an existing prewired HDMI cable and display with a new machine with display port only. This was an inexpensive solution which worked perfectly.

Good quality adapter and priced reasonably. Bought it open box but got it new since they had none that were open box. Very nice! Works perfectly for computer with display port only to monitor with HDMI only.
